“Start before you’re ready” that’s what I had written on a post it note and stuck on my desk before I started blogging.
Because if I had waiting until I was ready, I’d never do it.
I have heard so much about how people want to do this or that, follow their dreams and do “the thing” but they’re just too afraid, they’re just not sure. I get it, I’ve been there too, but the only way to know, the only way to do it, is to start! Even before you’re ready!
The reality is, is that you’re going to be clunky at first. You’re not going to be an expert, you’re not going to know the rhythm right away and you have to be willing to be a beginner, even if you’re “old”.
Life is short and I refuse to take my last breath wishing I would have tried. If you want to do the thing; Do The Thing. There’s just no way around it, you gotta go through it. If you’re scared, good. But, remember just because you’re scared doesn’t mean you’re not brave. It doesn’t mean you don’t have faith. It just means your dream is worth dreaming. Do it scared.
I pray your comfort zone gets so uncomfortable you have no other choice than to fly in faith right out of it.
Be strong and courageous the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
