If unchecked it can begin to build resentment and potentially may lead to a struggle with discontentment. Let us pray against a heart of discontentment and a journey towards sacrificial love.

A skill built and strengthened through the journey of motherhood is the ability to worry. Although we may know it doesn’t do us any good to worry, we do it anyways. Moms don’t often get a lot of rest. However, rest is a spiritual requirement. Our society now calls rest, self care and we’re able to see a number of examples in scripture of Jesus resting. The requirement for rest is no different for us today. There comes a time when we have to trust God with our human efforts and allow Him to do what He does while we step back and rest. Let us pray for a space, mentally, physically and spiritually to rest.
